Building sales system which will allow to promptly change both tariff and product’s construction. It will have a number of validations which have been done manually up till now through back office in the process of post sales control of the agents – especially control of correctitude of discount’s allowance. The system which will eliminate the necessity to perform operations with the usage of paper especially for life policies.
The project had two stages. At the first one as a result of preliminary analysis there has been established backlog of the project, fundamental architectural assumptions as well as costs’ estimation.
At the next stage simultaneously, there was detailed analysis as well as development works. Analytical works were always first before development works so as the team of 18 programmers, 4 testers had already assumptions for implementation prepared. Such a work mode required enormous discipline both from the client who was making decisions as well as from the analysts of Decerto with the verification of completeness of gathered requirements and their coherence with other elements of the system.

A prompt reaction to changes in Agile’s methodology
Since the project extensively used scrum methodology, there were demos every 2 weeks which were presenting results of works to a vast auditorium. Thanks to that the client often verified progress of works as well as in what way functional requirements are transferred into the real system.
At the ultimate stage there was one big team of analysts, programmers, testers from both client’s side and Decerto in order to conduct final parameterization of the system and then its tests.
