Building a complex policy administration system used for individual insurance supporting all life products of Generali. Limited budget, a short time for the project.
Within 14 months the team of 10 developers, 2 analysts, a tester and a project manager built from scratch a full functioning product system. During the process of system building we were working in Generali, being very close to future users.
The process of analysis was conducted simultaneously with development which enabled to vastly shorten the time period of the project. The recipients of the systems observed the progress and summarily verified modules created by us. As a result, we had to modify the application code repeatedly and even assumptions. Thanks to that we were able to release a system which reached all expectations of the users.

A prompt reaction to changes in Agile methodology
In creating the solution, we have used our experience from projects concerning building similar solutions and also from a several years period maintaining similar systems. Thanks to that, we have improved all the mechanisms and designed an even better solution.
The system was built on the basis of parametric and product engine (it is a Decerto proprietary solution which has been a foundation for Hyperon system later) which enables obtaining a very short coefficient: time-to-market.
Within the limits of the project we have performed migration of all data from two original systems: policy data, clients data, transactions, history of changes, accounting data and other. It was close up to 800 million records. The whole process of migration has been practiced and repeated dozens of times. The process of data migration was based on Migrator module (Decerto proprietary solution) which provides data migration of 100 percent quality.
Hyperon is an engine used for creating business rules as well as managing business logic.
It is a system providing data migration of 100 percent quality, even for multimillionaire database.
Policy system for life products (individual and group products).
In order to keep the established deadline, we have created functional backlog where together with the Generali employees we have put aside a dozen or so of functionalities which did not fit in the main release and were implemented in 1.1 version which has been implemented 3 months later.
After implementing the system, we have been maintaining and servicing the system for two years and within next years we help to maintain and develop the system by Generali’s employees.
Within 14 there was built a system which:
The biggest advantage of the solution is its full transnationality, which enables to back up policy to any moment in time.
