MediaMarkt aimed to create a single application that could quickly and efficiently aggregate available financial offers from banks (current MSH partners). The client sought to improve and optimize two critical areas of their operations:

  • Consumer Finance Process Aggregation: Delivering a comprehensive technical solution to aggregate various consumer financing processes. This was intended to enhance the customer experience for those seeking financing options, while also improving operational efficiency.
  • Embedded Insurance: Implementing a solution that would consolidate and simplify the management of services and warranties, making it easier for both customers and internal teams to handle service requests after a purchase.

Solution Approach

The scope of the project was extensive, and Decerto was responsible for delivering a complete application project - from concept to a fully functional solution. This included:

  • Designing and developing a technical platform to aggregate consumer finance processes.
  • Building an integrated, comprehensive solution for managing services and warranties.
  • Collaborating closely with our team to ensure the solution aligned with our business objectives and processes.

As a result, MediaMarkt experienced a significant increase in Consumer Finance revenue as a direct outcome of the new system. The process for installment purchases was reduced from 20 to 5 minutes!

The application developed by Decerto was recognized across the entire MediaMarkt Group, receiving the Experience Award in the Usage Experience category.
