Decerto is expanding collaboration with Send Technology

April 9, 2024

Decerto and Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) have announced a new strategic partnership to deliver Send’s award-winning underwriting platform to commercial and speciality insurers in Europe and North America.

The partnership will bolster Send’s delivery capabilities as demand grows for AI-powered technology to transform the underwriting process and deliver real business impact for carriers in a tough market. Decerto in turn will extend its reach and deliver the Send Underwriting Workbench to a growing number of international insurers.

Decerto has recently supported Send to deliver the Underwriting Workbench to a major US-based MGU. The platform will deliver an end-to-end Underwriting process that solves for submission chaos, prioritizes the quality of data and enrichment of data at the right point in the process, and preserves the Underwriter’s focus on underwriting, not admin.

Co-founder and Send CEO Andy Moss commented:

‘There has been a significant shift in investment for pre-bind technologies that improve the underwriting experience and drive profitable growth. As such, demand for the Send Underwriting Workbench has increased exponentially.

We’ve known the team at Decerto for many years and they have been instrumental in supporting us with valuable resources to develop our Underwriting Workbench. Formalising our partnership boosts our ability to jointly offer a professional service and exceptional product at scale, as we continue to grow and expand into new territories.’

Board member of Decerto Marcin Nowak said:

“We’ve been collaborating with Send since its inception, and it’s been wonderful to see the platform develop into a leader in its category. Our team at Decerto consists of highly qualified engineers and experienced insurance professionals. Augmenting our skills with Send means we can deliver customised solutions that perfectly align with our customers’ needs.”

Send Underwriting Workbench is an API-enabled underwriting platform for agile insurers.  It is a one-stop desktop for commercial underwriters with data, documentation and decision points all in one place.
